The Lyons City Council voted unanimously at its Dec. 21, 2020 meeting to approve appropriations totaling $137,265.19 and to adopt the Dec. 7, 2020 council meeting minutes. Councilman Doug Higgins moved to approve the appropriations, and Councilwoman Melody Adams seconded; the roll call recorded seven "Yes" votes and the motion carried.
The council also approved Cereal Malt Beverage licenses as presented, with Councilman Rocky Gaines moving and Councilman Fred Long seconding; that motion likewise passed 7-0. Earlier in the meeting, Councilman Larry Walker moved to approve the meeting agenda, seconded by Councilwoman Leanna Payne; the agenda was approved on a 7-0 roll call.
