Council sets show-cause hearings for three potentially dangerous structures

Council approved three separate resolutions to provide hearings to ‘show cause’ why structures at 911 South Bell (Resolution #843), 330 North Pioneer (Resolution #844) and 614 West Main (Resolution #845) should not be condemned as unsafe or dangerous and ordered repaired or demolished.
All three motions were moved by Rocky Gaines and carried by voice vote with council members recorded by roll call for at least Resolution #843 and roll-call info for others noted in the minutes. The resolutions set the administrative step to schedule hearings and give property owners notice and an opportunity to respond.
