Lyons council approves $650,000 KMGA payment, bond interest and routine appropriations

At its Feb. 16 meeting the Lyons City Council approved a $650,000 payment to KMGA, an interest payment of $17,121.88 on a 2018 pool-improvement bond and appropriations totaling $27,068.52; the council also approved an ATP agreement and other routine contracts.
The Lyons City Council voted unanimously to approve a $650,000 payment to KMGA, the municipal gas agency, during its Feb. 16 meeting. Councilman Rocky Gaines made the motion and Councilwoman Leanna Payne seconded; the motion passed 7-0 on a roll-call vote.
The council also approved appropriations totaling $27,068.52 and approved the interest payment of $17,121.88 for the 2018 pool-improvement bond. Councilmembers approved an agreement between the city and ATP and approved the Section A portion of the Personnel Policies and Guidelines. Each of these motions passed by roll-call votes recorded in the minutes.
