The Lyons City Council approved appropriations totaling $332,145.68 and accepted prior meeting minutes during its Sept. 21 regular meeting. The motion to approve appropriations was moved by Council President Leanna Payne and seconded by Council Member Larry Walker; the roll call showed six yes votes and one absence (Marshall Christmann).
Council also approved the meeting agenda (which included a late addition to discuss UTV regulations) and handled routine public notices ranging from compost facility permits to upcoming LKM virtual events. The appropriation vote and agenda approval were recorded as unanimous among present members: Rocky Gaines, Leanna Payne, Doug Higgins, Dustin Schultz, Fred Long, Melody Adams and Larry Walker.
