Town hall stairwell light and Shepardson sidewalk repairs completed; bench to be evaluated

Committee members reported the Town Hall stairwell light has been replaced and Public Works repaired Shepardson sidewalk concrete; a broken bench at Shepardson will be inspected to determine repair or replacement, and a bench-donation program is being developed.
Committee chair Kevin Dawes reported that the Town Hall stairwell light previously raised to the committee has been replaced. Dawes also said Public Works has repaired the concrete issues on the Shepardson sidewalk.
JoAnn Cappelletti reported a broken bench at Shepardson; Dawes said he would inspect it after the meeting to determine whether it can be repaired or needs replacement. Parks & Recreation Director Betsy Anderson said a bench-donation program location list is being developed and that Shepardson may be considered as a future donation site.
