Town of Woodboro reviews appraisals for WB-603-2; town may seek both parcels for sand/salt shed

The committee reviewed completed appraisals for two parcels that make up WB-603-2 along USH 8 in the Town of Woodboro. Land Information reported the north parcel (2.4 acres) appraised at $22,000.00 and the south parcel (9 acres) appraised at $79,500.00.
Amanda Pontell, Woodboro supervisor, told the committee the town is interested in acquiring both the north and south parcels for construction of a sand/salt shed to support town road maintenance. Pontell said she would take the appraisal results back to the Woodboro town board for consideration; no sale or transfer was finalized at the committee meeting.
