The event is planned for noon to 3 p.m., and the motion that passed authorized closure from 69874 Circle Lane to the west entrance of Armada Ridge.
A council member (speaker 6) moved to approve the request; the motion was supported and passed by voice vote. City staff and councilors noted the event has run successfully for five prior years without reported issues. The council offered a brief wish for good weather and moved on to the festival items.
