At the start of public comment, Karen Cobb (speaker 6) told the board she has lived in the Carver's Court neighborhood for 30 years and described multiple near‑misses and speeding cars near a blind corner. “I'm 75... I'm very, very fearful of what might hit me,” she said, asking whether the township could restore corner no‑parking markings, address a truck that blocks sight lines and take steps to slow traffic.
Chair and staff promised follow‑up. The public‑works manager said staff and the manager would inspect striping and sight lines, and the police representative committed to directed enforcement: “My goal is to talk to the traffic safety unit guys tomorrow morning and have them focus on that area,” the police speaker said. The board directed staff to coordinate police, public works and management responses to improve safety for children and older residents in the neighborhood.
