Buildings and grounds update: ESIP work continues; boiler replacement, window deliveries and site testing underway

The director noted the district performed some mechanical work in‑house and expects to realize water‑use savings from the changes.
Project-specific status updates included Site 181 closeout work, Site 174 (Intermediate South) enclosure and discovery of conditions that must be rectified, Site 196 window deliveries for Westover scheduled for the beginning of the following week, and continuing well testing at 01:23 Walnut Street after LRSP recommendations. The director said contractors are preparing final payment requisitions that may include credit change orders; the district expects some returned funds to use on smaller referendum‑related projects.
Facilities staff also addressed recent operational incidents: a failed underground conduit affecting field lighting (likely age‑related wiring issues) and several broken windows that are covered with safety film while specialty glass is scheduled.
