Humboldt planning board denies Siemonsma access to HWY 38

The Humboldt Planning and Zoning Board voted unanimously on Sept. 23, 2024, to deny an access permit application from the Siemonsma property for a new access to HWY 38. The motion to not approve the application was moved by Mike Lias and seconded by Brad Gibbens; roll call showed all five members voting aye.
Board member Mike Noonan presented a copy of the access permit that the Siemonsma property submitted and the board discussed the application during new business. The board did not specify conditions for approval in the minutes. The item was listed for further attention on the board's next agenda on Oct. 28, 2024, when the board will meet again at 6:00 p.m. at the Humboldt Community Center.
