Property owners Pete Woelzinsk and Zack Brown told the Humboldt Planning and Zoning Board they intend to add onto an existing garage at 612 W 2nd Ave with an approach from Carlson. Board members advised that a variance for the west-side setback will be required because the existing house and garage were constructed before the current zoning ordinances were adopted.
The board asked the owners to have plans drawn and to submit them to the finance officer for formal review and any required variance application. No application or variance decision was made at the Jan. 27 meeting.
