Finance Officer Kristie Ellis told the Humboldt Planning and Zoning Board on Jan. 27, 2025, that an eight-unit residential building proposed south of town will require annexation, rezoning and a conditional-use permit for a multi-family dwelling. The board did not vote on the proposal at the meeting and recorded the matter for further consideration.
Ellis described the regulatory steps the project will need before the board can consider site or design plans. The board listed the eight-plex as an item for its next scheduled meeting on Feb. 24, 2025, and asked staff and interested applicants to submit formal plans before that review.
