Vice Mayor Gilmore told the board he met with Cumberland Connect at Ridgetop Station Park and reported, "There is now Wi‑Fi at the park." He also said an electrician installed a new flagpole light and the porch light is functioning, but that the on‑site house will require two new electrical panel boxes.
Gilmore said the pickleball court still needs sealing and that the park board discussed installing a wider, 6‑foot walkway to the court so it could double as a shuffleball court. He also noted the caboose has been painted but the decal will probably be installed next fiscal year. Gilmore thanked Stephanie Senft for helping organize the July 3 event and asked for additional volunteers.
