The food service presenter said, "I put in my 1st Sunbucks upload, and that came out to about 850 kids that are gonna get a $120 for to help feed them through the summer." She explained the district will perform two more uploads before the end of the year to add newly‑eligible students.
Staff also described difficulties in getting students to summer meal sites: services are provided primarily at the elementary with limited windows for breakfast and lunch, and transportation for non‑summer‑school students is constrained.
