Staff: zoning diagnostic, upcoming hearings and Board public hearing set Dec. 9

During communications, staff reported there had been no Board of Zoning Appeals meeting this month and reminded commissioners of upcoming residential rezoning hearings and one subdivision-waiver request scheduled next month. Staff also reported the zoning-ordinance modernization project is temporarily on hold until early 2026, when staff plan to present a potential contract for consideration.
Staff reiterated that the commission had forwarded the comprehensive-plan recommendation to the Board with the approved changes and confirmed the Board public hearing is scheduled for Dec. 9 at 6:00 p.m. Staff invited questions and none were raised, and the commission moved to adjourn later in the meeting.
