Senior planner Evan Mattis presented two Williamson Act contract items. For the Jones/WAC 24-0001 item staff proposed removing APN 321030007 (about 13 acres) from Agricultural Preserve 77 and initiating the 10-year roll-out process, leaving the larger parcel in the preserve. For the Coyle/WAC 25-0001 item staff proposed separating APN 089-010-032 and adding it to a new agricultural preserve so the same amount of land remains in preserved status overall.
Planning staff noted both projects meet Agricultural Commission recommendations and are categorically exempt from CEQA per the cited section. The board approved both contract actions and associated resolutions.
