County presenter wins board approval to adopt new treasury software described as "Treads"

A county presenter asked the Dolores County Board of County Commissioners to authorize a software licensing and services agreement for a treasury application she described in the meeting as “Treads,” saying the system would automate mailings, track deadlines and reduce manual work.
The presenter told the board the county already uses a separate product from the same developer for foreclosures and that this new module would be a distinct product. "It's free to the county," she said, adding that the program would rely on fees charged to applicants rather than county funds. She said the application fee in the presenter’s description would be $60 and that, at the moment, the office is managing about 10 applications in spreadsheets and calendars.
