Residents urge Inkster to act on problem property at 28941 Fernwood after repeated incidents

City staff replied that they had compiled a packet of notices and videos and that multiple notices had been sent to the household. A staff member said the household received "1st notice, a 2nd notice, and then they just recently got 0.333 notice" and that the staff had forwarded a packet to the attorney's office. The city attorney and staff agreed to exchange contact information and to pursue follow-up, with staff asking the resident to send additional evidence directly so it can be logged and reviewed.
Council members said they would look into the address and asked staff and the attorney to coordinate on potential nuisance-abatement steps. "If you send it to me, I'll go to Michael," one staff member told the resident, referring to the attorney follow-up. The city said it would keep the resident informed and evaluate whether additional enforcement or legal action is appropriate based on the compiled documentation.
