Superintendent Dr. Quinn noted that January is School Board Recognition Month and asked board members to sign an ethical principles poster established by the school boards association. She thanked the seven elected board members for their service and emphasized the hours they spend on behalf of children in the district.
The meeting also honored district employees of the month for December and January from multiple schools and the district office; winners were listed by name (e.g., Kimberly Hughes, Shelley Janick, Kiana Goodwin, Nancy Hester, Amy Baker among others). United Bank was thanked for sponsoring cash prizes for each recipient.
