Staff reports Hatch Park construction progress; commission corrects and approves January minutes

Planning staff reported that Hatch Park construction is underway: 100% design drawings are complete, grading contracts have been awarded, and remaining construction work will go out to bid. "We have the 100% drawings now, and so they are going out to bid for the next contractor in the process," staff member Sherry said, adding that the mural and site work are beginning to show progress.
On administrative business, Commissioner Jorgensen pointed out an error in the draft minutes of the January 27 meeting where a design standard was recorded as "5 to 6 feet," and clarified the intent was "5 to 6 stories." Jorgensen moved to approve the minutes with that correction; a commissioner seconded and the minutes were approved on the record.
