Staff told the commission that the city council approved an amendment to the Village Station general development plan and vacated a portion of Orchard Drive south of Gate Drive; staff said applicants will submit a plat amendment to incorporate the vacated road into lots and a site plan for townhomes in the coming weeks. "They did approve the amendment to Village Station general development plan and the road vacation of Orchard Drive south of Gate Drive," staff member Sherry said.
Sherry also said the city’s general plan consultant expects to deliver a draft next month. She explained the anticipated process: the commission will review the draft over one or two meetings, the city will hold a public hearing to receive comments, and then the commission may make a recommendation to the city council with any changes based on review and the hearing.
