Commission approves Riverbend Industrial plat amendment with firewall and red-line conditions

Planning staff described a plat amendment to divide an existing 2008 industrial building at Riverbend into multiple condominium units and make the shared parking area commonly maintained. Staff noted there were two outstanding technical matters: verification that the wall between new units A and B is a firewall or, if it is not currently a firewall, a condition to construct one, plus completion of minor red-line and signature-block corrections.
"There were some corrections that needed to be done to the signature blocks... 1, the verification of the firewall and the completion of minor red lines," staff member Sherry said. Commissioner Marsh moved to approve the proposed subdivision at 215 South Riverbend Way with those conditions; the motion was seconded by a fellow commissioner and passed on the record. Staff said the technical items must be resolved before final recording.
