Council accepts transfer of small Davis County parcel to connect storm drains

Karen (staff) described a small parcel the county dedicated for storm-drain use but that Davis County no longer needs in its system; the city requested the parcel so it can tie a local storm-drain segment into the city network and eliminate a maintenance gap.
"The blue square...does not have any storm drain in it at this time. It's a preparatory property transfer so that we can run the line from the existing line to the existing line," Karen said. Council voted to accept resolution 2026R transferring the parcel from Davis County to the City of North Salt Lake. Staff said the transfer will allow the city to complete a planned connection and take over the maintenance responsibilities for the line once installed.
