Lake County Library highlights Beverly Gage's 'This Land Is Your Land' for America250 displays

Christopher Veach, county librarian, told the board the library is featuring Beverly Gage's This Land Is Your Land as part of America250 displays. "This month, I want to highlight the nonfiction title, This Land is Your Land, a Road Trip through US History by Beverly Gage," Veach said, noting Gage's background as a historian and professor of American history at Yale and referencing her earlier Pulitzer Prize–winning biography of J. Edgar Hoover.
Veach said patrons can find titles through the library's online catalog, which aggregates the resources of Lake, Sonoma, and Mendocino county library systems. He said the highlighted title can be checked out as an ebook or audiobook or borrowed in print from local branches. Veach closed by inviting people to visit branches in Lakeport, Clear Lake, Middletown, Upper Lake, or the bookmobile to view the display and check out materials.
