Town administrator: Holley Hall/library deconstruction progressing; Bristol East water project advances

Town Administrator Gregory Faust updated the board on several capital and administrative items. He reported that deconstruction work at Holley Hall and the Lawrence Memorial Library is going well and that Efficiency Vermont may offer discounts on equipment to be installed. Faust said a preconstruction meeting for the Bristol East water project was held to work through phasing and internal financing.
Faust also said an MOU is being developed to absorb the Lawrence Memorial Library effective July 1, 2026. He reported that the Bristol East water line replacement received a regional prioritization ranking of No. 2 and that he anticipates the same 50% debt reduction that was provided for Bristol West will be extended to the Bristol East project; he said he will continue to work on related grant applications and keep the board posted.
