Council approves $203,000 increase to Renovation Alliance Healthy Homes contract

Council authorized an amendment to the city's contract with Renovation Alliance for the Healthy Homes Roanoke program, increasing the contract by $203,000 for a total of $660,500. City staff said the additional HUD funding will let Renovation Alliance expand capacity to complete rehabilitation projects that address health and safety hazards in residents’ homes.
Mayor and council members thanked Renovation Alliance for their work. The manager acknowledged the new executive director Dina Imbriani, who was present. The resolution was moved and seconded and adopted on the council roll call.
Staff said the amendment will be executed by the city manager or designee and that the additional funding will be used specifically to complete more home rehabilitation projects under the Healthy Homes program.
