Doctor Dickey presented the district's recommended math instructional materials following teacher reviews and votes. "Our elementary teachers voted for McGraw Hill, Reveal Math as their choice," Dickey told the board and explained selections for middle and high school honors and college-prep courses, including Accelerate Learning Math Nation and various vendor series chosen for specific course levels.
Board members asked clarifying questions about levels and implementation; the chair then asked for approval. Without objection, the board approved the materials as presented. Staff said digital resources, manipulatives and teacher scaffolding informed the choices and that teachers had engaged in multiple review sessions to reach consensus.
