Budget committee schedules early briefings with Road Agent, Fire and Police

Chair Rob Collins proposed inviting department heads for the "big three" budgets — Roads (Road Agent), Fire and Police — to present early about current expenditures and how they are preparing FY27 budgets with a view to cutting where possible so a budget can pass. Joe Hester recommended hearing the Road Agent first, then Fire, then Police.
Committee members agreed this sequence and noted the next department-head meeting was expected on August 7; the briefings are intended to provide the committee with more detail on run rates and to identify where reductions or reallocations might be feasible.
