The Heritage Pines Community Development District Board of Supervisors on April 15 adopted Resolution 2025-03 approving a proposed Operation & Maintenance (O&M) budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 and set a public hearing for July 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Heritage Pines Country Club meeting room.
District Manager Chuck Adams told the Board the proposed FY2026 budget is similar to FY2025 but reflects ‘‘a reduction of approximately $4,000 in appropriations’’ and projects the O&M assessment to decrease by $2.88 per unit year‑over‑year. On a motion by Vice Chair Arthur Rhodes, seconded by Assistant Secretary Carol Vaughan, the Board adopted the resolution unanimously.
The adoption schedules the formal public hearing required under Florida law to consider and adopt the budget; Adams said the board will post and publish the required notices. The resolution as adopted includes standard transmittal, posting and publication requirements and provides an effective date for the budget process.
The board’s action is procedural: the resolution puts the proposed budget on notice for residents and sets the next formal opportunity for public input and adoption at the July hearing.
