At the Dec. 10 meeting, the Heritage Pines board accepted the district’s unaudited financial statements as of Oct. 31, 2024.
District Manager Chuck Adams presented the statements and said the district established a BankUnited Insured Cash Sweep (ICS) investment account; he stated his belief that the initial 4.75% interest rate "has dropped to 4.25%." The board accepted the statements by unanimous motion. Adams also reported that the new pond‑treatment contract with Premier Lakes began Dec. 1, 2024; Premier Lakes will treat the large pond and Pond 3 three times annually, with treatments scheduled next in March and July 2025.
The acceptance preserves the district’s financial reporting timeline and documents the new sweep account and contracted pond‑management schedule for the coming year.
