Three newly elected supervisors were sworn in at the Heritage Pines Community Development District meeting on Dec. 10, 2024, and the board voted to set its leadership for the coming term.
District Manager Chuck Adams, acting as a notary, "administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Rhodes, Mr. Putman and Mr. Walsh," marking the formal seating of Arthur Rhodes (Seat 1), Stephen Putman (Seat 2) and Michael Walsh (Seat 3). Following the oath, the board considered and adopted Resolution 2025‑01 to elect officers as nominated: Kathleen Lonergan as Chair and Arthur Rhodes as Vice Chair, with Michael Walsh, Carol Vaughan and Stephen Putman named assistant secretaries. The motion was moved by Mr. Walsh, seconded by Ms. Vaughan, and approved unanimously.
The resolution also removed Janice Benedetti from the board’s list of officers while leaving prior staff appointments unchanged: Craig Wrathell remains listed as Secretary/Treasurer, Chuck Adams as Assistant Secretary and Jeff Pinder as Assistant Treasurer. The officer slate positions the board to proceed with routine district business and upcoming meetings.
The board will next meet Feb. 18, 2025; a 1:00 p.m. workshop that day will provide an overview of CDD responsibilities for newly seated supervisors and any interested participants.
