Residents raise crumbling curbs, storm debris and meeting-microphone request at Heritage Pines meeting

Several residents used the public-comment period to raise neighborhood maintenance concerns at the Oct. 15 meeting. Joyce Welsh reported that the curbs in front of her residence are crumbling and asked about landscape storm debris removal; Chair Kathleen Lonergan asked Welsh to provide her address to District Engineer Kurt Heath so he could inspect the site. The board noted that debris removal work was underway.
Resident Tim Sweeney asked about using microphones during meetings; Chair Lonergan said she had submitted the request and Grounds Superintendent Tim Gatz asked Lonergan to copy him on emails about the issue so staff could follow up. Later in the meeting Lonergan reiterated that Gatz should notify her when residents report downed CDD trees so she can track responses.
