Supervisors reviewed ongoing operations and maintenance items Sept. 17. Assistant Secretary Carol Vaughan said the front property and Paleo Park "look great" and requested installation of another bench; Grounds Superintendent Tim Gatz will meet with her to determine placement. Ms. Lonergan reported a temporary dam on Hole 11 built to address an irrigation break.
Supervisor Michael Walsh reported that construction at a residence on Pond 16 appears to encroach on the EDRA and caused bank damage; staff said homeowners are responsible for damage and will monitor and address the issue when work is complete. Mr. Hurley and Mr. Adams discussed algae on Ponds 7, 5 and 11 and Adams said he will request a proposal from a contractor with prior success treating similar irrigation holding ponds.
