Town Manager: Winter Harbor will not receive new tabulator machine for November as state skipped bidding

Liscomb reported several administrative updates: she will attend Networking Day; tax bills have been mailed; while updating the personnel policy a section was skipped and will be returned to the agenda; and, "The Secretary of State has for the third year in a row not gone out to bid for the new tabulator machines. These means Winter Harbor will not be getting one for the November Election." The minutes record that statement without additional elaboration on contingency plans.
The board did not record a formal vote or direction in response to the tabulator issue during this meeting. The minutes simply add the personnel-policy follow-up to a future agenda and list other routine administrative items.
