District reports steady progress on Clover High, Liberty Hill and Lake Valley construction projects

At Liberty Hill Elementary foundations have been poured and service-road rock work is near completion, though crews encountered some rock near foundation and sewer areas that required attention and have slowed work in places. At Lake Valley High School, the gym and two academic wings (areas G and H) are progressing with decking in place and second-floor slab pours anticipated; project staff noted weather-related delays but said major milestones remain on schedule.
Board members asked clarifying questions about sequencing and site drainage; project staff said rain and a recent snow episode had impacted schedule but that contractors continue to make progress and will return with monthly updates.
