Construction update: field house, fine-arts wing and site work continue for new schools

Hopkins noted clearing permits were obtained at Liberty Hill Elementary and site clearing is in progress (roots and stumps grubbed) and said he expects foundations and brickwork to begin before deep spring if schedules hold. He cautioned that certain approvals (county notices) were still pending in a few areas and that the construction team is closely tracking the schedule to avoid delays.
The board was invited to site visits in the coming weeks and staff said they will continue to post progress photos for board review. "We're keeping track on all that very closely," Hopkins said regarding the schedule and outstanding approvals.
