Students and staff honored at Clover board meeting; United Bank thanked for partnership

The Clover School District Board of Trustees spent a substantial portion of its November meeting recognizing student and staff accomplishments across the district. The Clover Middle School cheerleaders and the Applied Technology Center fire combat challenge teams were applauded for regional competition results, and the Clover High School clay target team was recognized for finishing first in the state clay target championship.
Principals from multiple schools introduced students who achieved perfect scores on SC Ready subtests; the board read the names of dozens of students from Bethany Elementary, the 9th‑grade campus, Griggs Road, Clover Middle School and others. The district also announced staff‑of‑the‑month honorees from each school; Tina Farris (speaker 3) joined the group and said she was pleased to help honor the staff.
The chair thanked the families and coaches and invited photo opportunities. The recognitions occupied the early part of the meeting and were presented prior to the superintendent's report and business items.
