Board elects Rob Wallace chair, names Jessica Cote vice chair and Kieron Meeks secretary

The board also confirmed Jessica Cote as vice chair and Kieron Meeks as secretary; all three nominations were approved after the chair asked for other nominations and, hearing none, called for the ayes.
The board also announced volunteer appointments that do not require a formal vote: Tracy Stiff and Matt Burris will serve as legislative liaisons for the South Carolina School Boards Association when needed, Mike Ballard will represent the board on the Cloverleaf Foundation, and Kenda Cook will serve on the All On Board coalition. The chair recognized the appointees and thanked them for agreeing to serve.
Board members framed the officer selections as part of the board's regular annual organization process. The meeting proceeded to other business after the administration of the oath and introductory remarks by the new chair.
