The Brea Olinda Unified School District board announced two administrative appointments from closed session, approving Nicole Baer and Dr. Brandon Frank as assistant principals for the 2026–27 school year.
Board President reported that the board appointed Nicole Baer to the position of assistant principal at Brea Olinda High School effective for the 2026–27 school year; the vote was 4-0 with Trustee Johnson absent. Nicole Baer told the board she was “so excited to be part of the Brea Olinda team” and said she looked forward to contributing to students and the community. Later the board reported it had appointed Dr. Brandon Frank to an assistant principal position also effective for the 2026–27 school year; Frank said he felt “honored to be part of this family” and thanked district leaders for the opportunity.
Both appointments were introduced as routine personnel actions from closed session and were followed by brief welcome remarks and a photo opportunity. The board president and staff encouraged the new administrators to begin onboarding and team-building ahead of the next school year.
