Board committees report hires, new job descriptions and policies ahead of the school year

Committee members gave brief updates on their summer work. The personnel committee reported it met July 14 and discussed new job descriptions and positions including a purchasing specialist in the business office and streamlining around registration. "Personnel committee met on July 14. We discussed various new job descriptions...including the purchasing specialist with business office," Beth said.
Policy committee said it met the previous day and reviewed agenda items for the night, including tweaks to the activity participation fee language and an internet-enabled device (cell phone) policy that needs language in place for the beginning of the school year. Committees announced next meeting dates in August.
