Jenkinsburg council adopts agenda, approves Aug. minutes and accepts August financials

At its Sept. 22 meeting the Jenkinsburg City Council adopted the agenda, approved minutes from Aug. 11, 2025, and unanimously accepted the August 2025 financial reports; motions were moved and seconded as recorded in the minutes.
The City of Jenkinsburg Council adopted the Sept. 22, 2025 agenda after a motion by Mayor Pro-Tem Jason Watts that was seconded by Council member Gary Brown; the minutes record ayes from Jason Watts, Gary Brown, Gary Roberts and Brent Eberspacher and the motion passed. Mayor Eddie Ford called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and the meeting record was maintained by City Clerk Debi Smith.
Jason Watts moved to approve the council minutes from Aug. 11, 2025, a motion seconded by Brent Eberspacher; the minutes show recorded ayes from Jason Watts, Joye England, Gary Brown, Gary Roberts and Brent Eberspacher. Later, Council member Brent Eberspacher moved to accept the August 2025 financial reports, seconded by Gary Roberts; the minutes show the motion passed with recorded ayes from Jason Watts, Joye England, Gary Brown, Gary Roberts and Brent Eberspacher. No votes against or abstentions are recorded in the minutes for these items.
The council’s acceptance of the financial reports was entered as a formal motion and vote; the minutes do not include discussion of line-item changes, auditor notes, or spending authorizations beyond acceptance. With routine business completed the council continued to other agenda items.
