Branchestor Parkway Townhomes rezoning deferred to Feb. 26 to address VDOT road comments

"We would appreciate the planning commission's consideration of giving us some extended time to study some road improvements on Middle Road that VDOT is asking us to do," said Jeff Geiger, speaking on behalf of the applicant.
A commissioner moved to accept the applicant's deferral request and reschedule the public hearing for the February 2026 Planning Commission meeting; the motion was seconded and passed on roll call with all members recorded as 'Yes.' The applicant said the extra time will allow verification of VDOT requests and the space available for any needed turn lanes; the commission recorded the deferral to Feb. 26, 2026.
