Fenton enacts grant amendment, engineering contract for Bud Weil Park Annex

The Board of Aldermen voted unanimously June 25 to enact an amendment to the Municipal Park Grant agreement and to approve a supplemental engineering services contract to move Phase 1 of the Bud Weil Park Annex forward. Alderman Maserang introduced the measures and the ordinances were enacted by roll-call vote.
Alderman Maserang said the supplemental agreement (Supplemental Agreement #13 with SC Engineering, LLC d/b/a Cochran) covers professional design engineering and construction administration for water and sanitary sewer connections associated with the annex development. The ordinances implementing Amendment #1 to the grant and the engineering services were approved as Ordinance Nos. 4656 and 4657. The action follows the Capital Improvements report listing Bud Weil/Fabick Nature Preserve stair and boardwalk work as recently completed and other park projects in progress.
