Mandeville introduces FY 2026-27 operating and capital budgets and sets hearing dates

Councilman Scott Discon introduced Ordinance 26-28 to appropriate funds for the City of Mandeville's FY 2026-2027 operating budget and Ordinance 26-29 to appropriate funds for the FY 2026-2027 capital improvement budget. Both ordinances were introduced for consideration and not adopted at the July 9 meeting.
The council unanimously approved the proposed budget hearing dates: August 12 at 6:00 p.m.; August 13 at 5:00 p.m.; August 19 at 6:00 p.m.; August 26 at 6:00 p.m.; and August 27 at 5:00 p.m. Those hearings will provide formal opportunities for public comment and final consideration of the budget ordinances. The transcript does not include proposed dollar amounts for either budget in this meeting.
