CRA staff: FPL expects light‑pole installation by July; Northeast Avenue project linked to $1M grant

In a brief projects update, CRA staff said an FPL analyst reported the light-pole installation is planned to be completed by July of this year; staff did not provide a specific start date but said they will follow up with the board when installation begins. “So far, All she has is the same information she gave me last time that they are planning on completing this project as of July of this year,” a staff member said.
Staff also reported that two contracts for the Northeast Avenue Complete Streets project had been approved on May 19 and that the project had a Broward redevelopment grant reimbursement of $1,000,000 available; the city will submit final documentation to obtain the reimbursement after project work is completed. The board asked staff to keep them updated on start dates and milestones.
