Board amends agenda to add closed personnel session and later moves to closed session
Summary

At the session start a board member moved to amend the agenda to add a closed meeting at the end of the agenda for a personnel matter. The amendment was seconded and approved by roll call.
Near the end of the work session a motion to go into closed session was made citing Virginia Code §2.2‑3711(A)(1) and (A)(8) for discussion of prospective candidates for employment and for consultation with legal counsel regarding related legal matters. The motion was seconded and passed by roll call. After reconvening the board certified pursuant to Virginia Code §2.2‑3712(D) that only business permitted in closed session had been discussed.
