Rosebud County public health praises safety upgrades, plans local furniture solution

Chely Sitar, director of public health, said most safety improvements in the public-health building have been completed and thanked commissioners, the safety committee and staff who helped implement the changes. She noted a short-term fix — a metal file cabinet placed at the front desk — while the prison shop constructs a deeper cabinet to address storage shortages (SEG 064–081).
Sitar also highlighted procurement choices for furniture: “All of the furniture that you see was made by the Deer Lodge prison. It is really well made,” she said, noting the items were less expensive than other office equipment the department found. She asked for patience while the remaining front-desk snafus are resolved.
