Superintendent Cowher presented three draft goals for 2026–27 and described indicators of success for each. Cowher said her second goal focuses on student achievement and organizational excellence, citing plans to increase advanced coursework, expand CTE opportunities and strengthen instructional leadership. "Success will be measured not only through academic outcomes, but also through increased opportunities and recognition for students and staff," she said. The third goal addressed fiscal stewardship: long-term forecasting, balanced budgets and capital-project oversight were cited as priorities.
Committee members asked for a midyear update; Cowher said she will present progress reports and that the goals were drafted to reflect prior feedback from the committee and community.
