Resident Richard Leary told the Select Board that heavy equipment and a flatbed had blocked West Shore Drive at a blind corner, preventing him from driving in or out and creating a safety hazard. He said vehicles were parked or moving across the road with no cones or markers to warn motorists. "I can not drive in and out of the road without being in violation with the police here," Leary said, and he asked the board to note the issue.
The board responded that they appreciated the report and suggested Mr. Leary contact the Sheriff’s Department to address immediate safety concerns; the Town will monitor the situation and offer support if needed. The meeting adjourned at 7:27 p.m.
