Board approves minutes, defers several proposals and confirms next meeting date

At its Aug. 27 meeting the River Ridge CDD Board approved the July 23, 2024 regular meeting minutes with textual corrections, deferred consideration of a Bowman Consulting landscape architecture proposal and Resolution 2024-06, and reviewed unaudited financial statements and ongoing reconciliation of prior bond notes.
Mrs. Cleo Adams presented corrections to the minutes (for example, inserting “(via Zoom)” after Pires, correcting several names and acronyms, and changing a textual reference to a data collection project). On a motion by Mr. Robert Twombly and seconded by Mr. Kurt Blumenthal the minutes were approved as amended (unanimous).
District Engineer Charlie Krebs reported the MRI Pinehurst valley gutter inlet grate replacement project was about 80% complete; Mrs. Adams said she is working with accounting to reconcile the 2022A and 2022B notes. The board confirmed the next meeting date as Sept. 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., with several supervisors indicating they will attend and Mr. Schultz calling in by telephone.
